My teaching experience in Milan

I’m Igor De Guglielmo, with a degree in Economics and Finance. My teaching in computing, business economics and mathematics sits alongside my work in photography and audiovisual production. Milan was an important meeting point for these activities.

Five years in Via Cagnola

For five years I taught at the Leonardo da Vinci school complex in Via Cagnola, Milan. I worked with students from different programmes, mainly in computing and business economics, alongside mathematics teaching. This experience forms an important part of my work in upper-secondary education.

Computing in the scientific high school

In the scientific high school’s Applied Sciences option, I taught computing in years one to five. Computing ran through the students’ entire school programme: a subject in which reasoning becomes procedures, instructions and solutions that can be tested.

Computing and business economics in IT AFM

Also in Via Cagnola, I taught computing in years one to four of IT AFM, the technical programme in Administration, Finance and Marketing, as well as business economics. This programme, formerly known as ragioneria, connects digital tools with the way businesses work: two areas of my professional experience.

Mathematics and support for CAT classes

In CAT, the Construction, Environment and Territory programme, I undertook some cover teaching and tutoring in mathematics and other subjects. It is the programme formerly known as geometri. These activities form another part of my experience in Via Cagnola, alongside computing and business economics.

Two years at Istituto Maria Consolatrice

I taught computing for two years at Istituto Maria Consolatrice di Milano, at 51 Via Melchiorre Gioia. Here too, I worked with IT AFM classes from the first to the fourth year. The two years describe the length of my teaching role; years one to four describe the classes I taught.

Five years at the ACME Academy

From 2020 to 2025 I taught at the ACME Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, in first- and second-cycle programmes. Photography, digital image processing, video production, audiovisual work for the web, Digital video, animation, editing, and directing with compositing are the eight areas presented in my teaching records.

The experience I bring to my work today

Today I continue to create learning materials and offer tutoring, homework help and support with study methods. My school teaching experience remains part of this work. I am available in Cagliari and the surrounding area, and online throughout Italy; subjects and requests are assessed according to the student’s programme.
