My world: experience, interests and projects

I’m Igor De Guglielmo. I develop websites, online shops, software and apps; teach computing, mathematics and business studies; and create photography, video and educational content. I bring these skills together to help individuals, professionals and businesses build clear, usable projects.

My professional background

Four illustrated students study together: they examine a geometric model, use a computer and work in a notebook.

Milan: five years of teaching

For five years I taught at the Leonardo da Vinci school complex in Via Cagnola, Milan. I taught computing from the first to the fifth year of the scientific high school’s Applied Sciences option, and from the first to the fourth year of the Administration, Finance and Marketing technical programme, IT AFM. I also taught business studies and provided mathematics teaching, including cover lessons and tutoring for the Construction, Environment and Territory programme, CAT.

My time in Milan also included two years teaching computing at Istituto Maria Consolatrice, at Via Gioia 51, working with AFM classes from the first to the fourth year. These different schools and programmes are an important part of my teaching experience.

ACME: photography, images and audiovisual work

From 2020 to 2025 I taught at the ACME Academy of Fine Arts in Via Cagnola, Milan. Photography, digital image processing, video production and editing were part of that experience. The documented teaching assignments include courses in first- and second-cycle academic programmes.

Here I present the eight subject areas I taught, with course titles and years, so readers can get to know my work before exploring further. Advertising photography, audiovisual techniques for the web, Digital video, digital animation, and directing with compositing complete the picture.

Adult learning: computing and photography

Between November and December 2025 I taught computing at Forma Giovani, Associazione CRFPA, in Cagliari. That experience included Office tools and Google applications, within training that also involved simulated workplace learning.

At the University of the Third Age in Sestu, I taught photography to adults in a course held between March and May 2026. The photography section presents this work and its continuation: observation, understanding tools and the enjoyment of learning.

Fitness and personal training: my past experience

Between 2015 and 2020 I worked as a fitness instructor and personal trainer in gyms, sports centres, associations and dance schools. My experience includes group classes such as aerobics, step and super jump, alongside personal training.

The Fitness page tells the story of my past professional experience and my connection with movement. Sport is also part of my life outside the gym: trekking, cycling, canoeing and SUP connect with my interest in Sardinia and outdoor activities.

My work today

Photographer and videographer

Photography remains part of my professional work, alongside video production. I offer photography for weddings, baptisms, first communions and confirmations, as well as birthdays, graduations, parties and other ceremonies. My background includes photography for patron saint festivals and local events, and photographic work at Auchan in Cagliari and Pirri.

The portal develops this experience in two directions: work for people and events, and photography as a visual language to explore and teach. Ajopix is my photography project connected with Sardinia. It has its own page, linked to photography and my interest in the island.

Computing, websites and consultancy

My history with computers began at the age of ten with a VIC-20, followed by the Commodore 64, Amiga and PCs. Today I develop websites, including e-commerce sites, software, apps and digital content, and provide IT consultancy for individuals and businesses.

The portal presents this work through the tasks I can help with: website structure and content, clear navigation, readability, smartphone layouts and links with other channels. The Web services section connects technical work with communication and provides a way to contact me about a request.

Teaching, tutoring and study support

I create learning materials for lower- and upper-secondary students and offer tutoring, homework help, support with failed subjects and work on study methods. My school teaching experience guides this work, including support for students who encounter difficulties or have specific educational needs.

Lessons are available in Cagliari and the surrounding area, and online throughout Italy. The dedicated page explains the subjects offered at different school stages and study support for ADHD, special educational needs and specific learning difficulties, distinguishing it from clinical care. Requests are assessed according to subjects and goals.

Digital content and new business projects

I also create content and am developing software, apps and automations. This work builds on my professional experience in computing, teaching and visual communication.

The section devoted to AI and entrepreneurship presents my work with these tools: designing solutions and content for individuals and businesses, turning a need into a practical project. It is one branch of the portal, with room for further material and the guide I intend to write.

My interests

A Mediterranean coast with rocky headlands, a small sandy cove and turquoise sea.

Living Sardinia, from the sea to the inland landscape

Sardinia is the place I live in and keep exploring. In summer I enjoy seeing the coast from the sea by canoe and SUP; in other seasons I am drawn to inland landscapes, walks and places connected with Sardinian history. Trekking and cycling offer other ways to experience the scenery.

Sardinian archaeology is one of my interests: nuraghi, giants’ tombs and domus de janas are places I visit and return to. The portal makes room for these interests and the Ajopix photography project, with new personal photographs to enrich the story over time.

Projects and books

Culture, sport and associations in my background

Association activities are part of my story, alongside work and teaching. Culture, photography, sport and organisation come together in my experience with Arte Zenit and For You Sardinia, and in my background as a fitness instructor.

Arte Zenit: culture and images

From 2011 to 2017 I was president of the Arte Zenit cultural association in Cagliari. My work involved promoting exhibitions and arts events, as well as photography and video production. This is a part of my background where working with images connected with association activities.

Digital skills in support of the community

Business studies in my teaching in Milan

During my five years working in Via Cagnola in Milan, I also taught business studies in the IT AFM pathway, alongside IT. In the portal, I present this experience with my school teaching background and connect it to the Economics section, distinguishing professional experience from educational content.

My books and projects

Writing, teaching and development come together in my books and the projects I am building. Here I introduce their purpose and current status.

Working with professionals, businesses and associations

My skills lend themselves to joint projects with professional practices, agencies, businesses and fellow professionals, including websites, applications, digital content and visual communication. I can contribute to a specific stage or work on a project we define together, with a clear role and goals.

For schools, training providers and associations, I can offer training activities and educational content, drawing on my experience in teaching, computing and photography. My work with Arte Zenit and cultural activities is part of my background in working with people and groups.

Each collaboration starts with a discussion of the project, the skills it needs and the timeframe.

Books, digital products and publishing collaborations

My books, educational materials, apps and interactive publications offer opportunities for discussion and collaboration with publishing houses, educational publishers and organisations that develop or distribute digital products. Content quality and the intended audience remain central.

My projects include In Equilibrio, already published on Amazon; the five-volume Matematica — Corso completo series being prepared for publication; and Simulatore di vita 3.0 — Il prezzo nascosto di ogni cosa. My digital projects include Odissea: la storia vera, a free app available on Google Play, and C64 Studio Lab, which brings together programming and education.

To discuss a project or explore a publishing collaboration, you can contact me by email. We can agree on which presentation materials to review and how to take the discussion forward.
