My experience in Milan

Teaching and communication

My teaching covers computing, mathematics and business studies for private schools, training providers and organisations that run courses. I draw on my experience in Milan’s schools, at ACME and in adult education, with clear explanations and attention to students’ needs.

Teaching at ACME in Milan

From 2020 to 2025 I taught photography, digital imaging and audiovisual production at ACME in Milan. The sources collected document 14 teaching assignments across the academic years from 2020/21 to 2024/25.

From taking a photograph to editing and visual effects, that experience informs my work with images and continues to inspire the portal’s learning projects.

Learning one step at a time

I teach mathematics, economics and computing. In my projects, I aim to make explanations accessible: a clear foundation to begin with, small experiments to observe and further exploration for those who want to go deeper.

From the basics to experiments and deeper exploration.

From explanation to communication

An example, an image or a well-structured sequence can help people follow an idea. I bring this same care to creating content and websites, focusing on the people they are intended for.

A concrete example can become an image and a step-by-step explanation.

Private tutoring and study support

For students, I offer individual tutoring, homework support, help with failed subjects, preparation for exams and resits, and study skills. Lessons are available in Cagliari and the surrounding area, or online throughout Italy, including during the summer.

When learning needs extra care

Every student has different needs. Teaching starts with what helps them follow an explanation, organise a task and try things step by step.

ADHD

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that can affect attention, activity levels and impulse control.

In my teaching, I use short instructions, clear steps and agreed breaks, adapting activities to the student’s needs.

BES · Special educational needs

Special educational needs cover different learning needs, which may be temporary: the Italian term BES is not a diagnosis.

In lessons, I adapt examples, instructions and timing, taking account of guidance from the school.

DSA · Specific learning disorders

Specific learning disorders can affect reading, writing or working with numbers; DSA is the Italian abbreviation.

We use examples and tools suited to the student’s needs, in line with their personalised learning plan where one is in place.

My work concerns learning and study skills; diagnosis and treatment are the responsibility of healthcare professionals.

Computing in Cagliari: Forma Giovani / CRFPA

In November and December 2025 I taught computing at Forma Giovani, within the CRFPA Association in Cagliari. The work included Office, Google applications and simulated work-placement activities. This experience adds to my background in school teaching and IT consultancy.

Computing and photography in adult education

Adult education is part of my professional background. Alongside teaching computing in Cagliari, I taught photography at the University of the Third Age in Sestu in a ten-week course between March and May 2026.
